Alligators at Barataria
All taken in the wild, the huge one people were walking by instead of going around and it was hissing, but sadly I didn't get to see any kids get eaten.

Alligators are pretty lazy...but try around May during mating season, when they're a bit more aggressive. They can move pretty quickly when you walk near their nests and such
Nice shots!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
P.S. Kids aren't that bad. You were once one too.

Thanks. When I was a kid my parents wouldn't let me walk within 5 feet of a 10ft unrestrained alligator, that's why now I took the long way around and stayed out of his reach. It was the best day there, normally I see 3-4 alligators total, I saw about 15 this day, and a coral snake too. All types of stuff was out.
