    Even with the harsh lighting I think the colors on 1 and 4 are great!

    -nice comp
    -exposure is right on
    -good DOF
    -good detail and contrast
    -good job on not blowing out the clouds (from harsh DR sunlight)

    Thanks very much for that thoughtful critique Dwayne. Photo one is my favorite that I have processed so far. There's a reason it's on top. I have only scratched the surface really of my shots this day. you know, a first pass.

    But as soon as I saw this shot, I loved the interest factor and composition. I was fortunate in the exposure and how everything came together. Solid preparation work pays off. (tri-pod, great gear, proper technique, high grade polarization (complements of Heliopan on this shot)

    A 28mm 1.4d doesn't hurt. ;) 200 ISO, F10 aperture, D3 camera.
