Goolge Analytics Goal Setting

I use Goolge Analyaltics to monitor traffic to my SmugMUg account. Is
there any way I can use the goal feature in Google Analytics to
monitor sales. I would need to know the url of "my" shopping cart to
set up my goals and conversions in Goolge Analytics.

Thanks,
Leighton

Isn't goal setting in Google about using their advertising? You do raise an interesting issue about conversion at the cart. I would be interested in abandonment rates from my (or your, or anyone's site), as a motivator to improve or leave alone the current cart configurator for something else. It's a Baldy-level question then.

As for my customers, sample of me, they are happy with the interface. I don't do a lot of sales via the site either.

    Cheers,

    Hi David,

No you don't have to run ads with Google to use the goal feature. I use the goal feature on sites in which I don't run Goolge ads for.

SM did get back to me and there is no way I can use the goal feature or the Goolge conversion feature.
