Some birds @ Lake Musconetcong
Water levels are unusually low for this time of year at Lake Musconetcong. One benefit is that it's a bit easier to muck around the swampy shoreline.
Any comments/criticisms much appreciated. Shots taken with Pentax K100D & Tamron 70-300mm lens.
I see the GBH's occasionally, this is by far the best opportunity I've had to photograph one.
First time I've seen a great egret.
I first saw double-crested cormorants about 2 years ago. They aren't noted for being local to this area. From what I've observed, they don't interact much with the other birds.
