A bit of Golf...

Went on a weekend golf excursion with some friends...hit 36 holes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and finished with 18 on Monday before heading home. Had my camera ready when i wasn't hitting...here are a few of my favorites:

I had to lay on my belly on the fairway for this one...all my buddies thought I was a bit nuts!




Look closely and you can see the ball falling into the hole!


I love the shots where you can see the ball flying through the air!










And of course, you have to play them where they lie!

You got it just at the right moment on number 2 and 7. Might be quite interesting if you could zoom up very close onto the ball just as it is being hit and capture the dirt flying and ball with a high shutter.

If anything (and I know it is hard with the good weather everyone outside the UK seems to get!) you probably need to bring the exposure down a touch to protect those highlights on number 1 and 4 particularly. Otherwise interesting to see a sport that isn't usually photographed as much on the forums.

Okay seriously, you have good timing being able to catch the ball in flight, those things move seriously fast. I can't catch a hockey slapshot like this yet, so kudos to you.
