Shootout 08......IR

Finally made it back from the Shootout and am painstakingly making my way through the several hundred IR photos I took (along with several hundred color ones as well) along the way.
My wife, Liz, and I made our way up from Vegas a couple days prior to the shootout and then headed up to Salt Lake City after. This being our first shootout we're still recovering. The pace was exhaustive but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. We made some new friends, got to take a lot of photos and got to see most of the state of Utah and it's weather changes in a very short time period. Oh and we got some driving lessons from Andy...I am in awe of your skill oh great one...
Many thanks to those that made this the event that it was :bow and we're very much looking forward to hopefully being a part of next year's Shootout in Acadia.
Anyway, here's a few of my favorites so far ...
1) Valley of Fire in Nevada
2) On the road(?) to the entrance to Bryce Canyon NP
3) Bryce Canyon - Sunset Point
4) Off Route 89 headed up to Richfield
5) Spotted Wolf Canyon - Interstate 70 in Utah
6) Arches National Park - Rock formation at sunrise near Windows Arch
7) Porcupine Rim - Lasal Mountain Loop
8) Deadhorse Point
9) Canyonlands National Park

Thanks eoren1,
That was one of my WHOA :jawdrop moments during processing. I wasn't sure I had something with it when I took it.

Thanks b8264d,
Amazing what you can find on some of the secondary roads as opposed to the major highways.
