What about perspective and camera. Just seen some jobs in the section and got interested in that.
Please leave your suggestions.

What type of sport? That makes a huge difference in what you need.

Lenses, for example, shoot any type of field sport (football, soccer, etc.) then you're looking at 300mm, even 400mm lenses, with f/4 minimum. If night, make that f/2.8. If you're shooting motocross or BMX or karts then a 70-200, and sometimes a 24-70 is all you really need. If night MX then throw in a strong flash with an external battery pack.

Camera bodies: you'll need a pro-series body if shooting in very dusty or rainy environments, or if in low-light situations. My 20D was just fine for day-time motocross but cratered as soon as I did night races, whereas my 1-series was nearly as good at night as the 20D was in day, and was just flat incredible in day. The other reason to justify a pro-body is how many pics do you plan to take in a year, as the pro bodies will hold up far longer. But if none of those conditions apply to you then the pro-sumer bodies should work just fine. They don't apply to me any longer, for example, so I now use a 40D and sold the 1DMkII.
