CH38: One Car

My first phot submitted for critique, let me know what you think.

I just press the button and the camera goes CLICK. :dunno
Canon: gripped 20d and 30d, 10-22 3.5-4.5, 17-55 IS, 50mm f1.8, 70-200L IS, 85mm f1.8, 420ex
sigma: 10-20 4-5.6 (for sale), 24-70 2.8 (for sale), 120-300 2.8

    Car looks cool against the dark asphalt so it stands out. Exposure is right on and the colors are neat.

    Did you take some other shots while the car was moving? Maybe a shot that shows a bit more of the side of the car would give the picture a more dynamic feel. Also, if you take the shot at a relatively slow shutter you can get a bit of action blur to give it that extra umph. Finally, you might get the driver to peel some wheels for you and get some smoking acceleration shots going....

    Then again, making it more dynamic might move away from the "ONE" theme which benefits from the stand-alone nature of the image you took.

    I have several hundred shots of this car doing all sorts of things, I was just going for the one theme of it sitting alone and stark yellow on the tarmac of the skidpad.

    Sadly, the damn car wont do a tire smoking burnout because it has all wheel drive, and a 5,000 dollar clutch. headscratch.gif

    (it has one gorgeous paintjob though)
