I recently had an opportunity to cruise down the Charles River from Watertown to Boston in a replica of a 1941 Cris Craft speed boat, affording us a unique view of Boston's skyline. The day was gorgeous and the river packed with kayackers, sailors, and racing shells. Hope you enjoy the view.
