Hikin' Mike

I was finally able to capture this male Anna's Hummingbird with some of his "colors" this afternoon. We also had some clouds today, so I kinda like background. I was getting tired of plain blue skies!

Very nice!

It's amazing that at 1/1600th shutter speed those little wings are still blurred (and there's not a bit of carbon fiber or titanium holding them together at warp speed).

Unique angle. It looks like it was right on top of you. I like the gorget. You captured it well. Good job. All my hummers have left for the season. I have to wait until April when they come back through.
