This is Mount Rainier from the Kent Valley south of Seattle. A random location where I found a place to pull off the road.

Testing to see if I know how to post and if exif comes through OK.

C&C welcome, good or bad.

Well, that didn't work. Try this.

How do I link or embed exif? I'm cross-eyed from reading how-to's and I still don't have it.

I can paste the URL below into a browser window and get it.

Image should be there now I think, but no exif. Maybe this works.

Thanks! Now that I see it here, I think it's a little brighter than I'd like.

    JDouglas,
I like this shot! On my screen, the lighting is perfect! Only nitpick I have is that I keep wanting the see the rest of the structure in the bottom left. If you cropped that out, I wouldn't miss it, but since I can see the roof, I want the rest of it. Or perhaps next time you're in the area at this perfect time of day, "move" the mountain up in the shot to fill a little more of the sky and include the building in the foreground.

Yup, it has a decent histogram in Photoshop. Not that that's everything...

Here's a quick-n-simple "monitor calibration" web page that may be beneficial:

Beautiful lighting on the mountain, and a wonderful shot. clap.gif I agree that a little less sky, and a little more forground including the building would help on this shot. Great job though.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. I'll reshoot it when we get a sunny evening. Probably next June. rolleyes1.gif

    The calibration page was helpful.
