Here are some shots I took yesterday, lovely spring day - these were taken with the stock 18-55 EF-S IS lens & circ polarising filter. These images have only been light edited when they were converted from RAW to JPEG - are a little darker than I intended as the monitor I converted them on wasn't calibrated properly and I couldn't wait to get them up :) BTW some may think they are over saturated but that is really how green the grass was, we had a recent rain shower and the spring growth just went mad. My partner and I went out around 4.30pm and left the church round 6pm (sun sets around 8pm at the moment here)Thanks for looking :) The photos are no where near as fancy or dramatic as some of the landscape shots on here but I like them!

Thanks everyone for the kind words - it was a beautiful day and with all the spring growth it really felt I was in a vibrant painting! Weather has been lovely for the last couple of week, have some more photos to go through so will post more later :)

James you have some amazing photos, love the IR and lightning ones. I only wish we had more lightning storms here but sadly we don't!

    Thanks for looking wings.gif

These are lovely and serene; quite a contrast from the colorful fall foilage going on right now. I especially like #2.

Lovely shots, James. Good work. A suggestion: how about applying a little D-lighting adujstments to the castle shots and recovering some of the detail in the shadows. I'd did a bit here. But I don't have access to all the data you have on the original, larger files.

Wow, thanks Jeff - you did bring out a lot of details. I use Canon's DPP then Elements 7 - as I was in a rush to share the photos all I did was tiny tweak in DPP then converted to JPEG. Should really now that I have more time finish the photos properly!

    Thanks for your tip clap.gif
