Drag & Drop?

Anyone have trouble with the window's explorer drag and drop feature for loading pix to smugmug?
I think this worked only once and now I have to "double click" on a file name in my computer's folders to get them to the upload window.
any ideas about what's wrong?

While it's not a big problem, I generally use firefox as my browser and the drag and drop uploader doesn't work in firefox. I wish there were a D&D uploader for firefox. Right now I have to switch to internet explorer to upload.
Anyway . . .
I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

all I understand about this is... yes, D&D works everywhere except smugmug

In Internet Explorer (I'm using version 6.x)
go to your tools pull down menu
select 'Internet Options'
I choose 'delete cookies', 'delete files', and 'clear history'
I do this about once every 2 or three weeks
it clears out all the stuff Internet Explorer saves
Internet Explorer runs faster for me when i do this.
Warning:It also clears out some of the stuff that makes it easier to access pages that you might go to frequently, like passwords. So you will have to enter your user name and passwort to get back on dgrin for example.
When you want to upload images to your smugmug account, you will also have to reinstall the drag and drop uploader program (called an active x component). It will prompt you to do this and it should be easy.
I have no idea if this will help your problem so take my thoughts with a proverbial grain of salt. Better minds can probably provide additional help. BUT I do think these steps are a good routine for pc health and maintenence. Temporary files can clog up a system, I believe.
for what it's worth. . .
