Not a expert so (I am not very good at this)
My 2 cents
#1 doesn’t do anything for doesn’t seem to be a center of interest my eye wanders all over the place.
#2 to me can be saved I would straiten the lamp post and play with the perspective a little
And maybe crop at the edge of the window
Overall, I like the photo

I agree with USAIR about #2.
I like the second shot. I think that there are good elements in the second shot you can do stuff with.
