Maybe I'm confused on what the feeds do exactly. What I want to do is pull the newest entries from smug and post them in Vbulletin automatically. Is that possible?

I'm still confused :D VBulletin is the software that is used for Digital Grin/Dgrin and other forums. You can't automatically post here. If you want to share photos on this forum, we welcome that! however, you will have to start a thread/create a post, since there is no 'automated' way to do this.

For info on the SmugMug RSS feeds, have a look, here.

Does this help at all? or are we still talking apples and pears? :D

That page doesn't help me in my case. Rss/Atom feeds are a way for people to know when you have new galleries posted. Correct? So if someone has a reader and subscribe to your feed they will automatically know when new entries are made. Right?

If this is so, then I was wondering if the built in RSS feed Manager can pull these feeds (act as a reader) and post them automatically as a Thread within Vbulletin. If this can be done, how can I get it to show up correctly?

VBulletin doesn't have a feed reader, and what you want can't be done, unfortunately.

If you want people to follow your photos/galleries/site, those people will need a feed reader of their own, and subscribe to your feeds.

Well not sure what you know about the RSS manager but I just got this to work. Thanks anyway. I'll write how it was done soon for those who want to know.

After reading this, I can only guess that what you wanted was to subscribe to a thread(s) and from that, generate a post.

Is that what you wanted to do?

No, I just wanted all my new gallery entries posted into my forum (via RSS) so that my users know I have new images uploaded. Which can be done in the admincp of vbulletin.

Oh. So you wanted vb help and not dgrin help?

There's a great support site for vBulletin customers that provides answers for questions like this. www.vbulletin.org.

No, I was trying to find out if the folks here knew about the RSS Manager since this site is run using VB. For those who don't know, you can assign your galleries, or photos to be posted on your forum using the RSS feature. Here's a screen shot of where to enter the information of the feed:

By default the post shows in the thread like this:

I would like for it to show up better than this. If anyone knows how to change the outlook of the RSS feed, let me know.

I am aware of it. However, your question is vBulletin specific and I would suggest you'll get more help from the folks who support vBulletin.
