I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    JohnC....I shot these with a Nikon D80 mounted with a Tokina 20-35 ATX PRO lens and using a B&W circular polarizer. I took the pictures last Wednesday, 10-15-08.

    JohnC....I shot these with a Nikon D80 mounted with a Tokina 20-35 ATX PRO lens and using a B&W circular polarizer. I took the pictures last Wednesday, 10-15-08.

    I've got the D300 now and the lenses in my sig. I'll be in the Smoky Mountains this week starting on Oct 22nd and hope to catch some fall color. Wish me luck on the timing of that. lol beer.gif

    Hi JohnC....

    Good luck in the Smokies. You'll probably find some good color, but at the lower elevations.

    While I just got a Nikon D700, I left it at home on this trip as I've not had enough time to play with it. I love the D80. I use center-weighted metering only with it and am happy with the results.
