Very cool shot Tom. Love the lines that formed in the water. Can't believe the leaves are sharp with that long of an exposure!

Wonderful shot. It had to be absolutely still with now wind at all for the leaves to be that clear huh.

Pretty much no wind. The water pictured is a slow flowing river. I used a 10 stop ND filter.

Nice pic Tom...Why the 202 sec exposure? Also, is there really a 10 stop ND filter?

202 seconds gets the proper exposure with a 10 stop ND filter in the light I had to work with.

    I use a B+W 10 stop ND filter. http://www.adorama.com/BW77ND1X.html

Adorama has the K20D for less new than used. 899.99 new, 919.00 used, if that's legit I'll order it today, as I broke my *ist D about 5 days ago on my roadtrip when I slipped and slid down a mountain. At least the lenses and flash were okay, but that's the problem, the flash ripped off the rail and top of my camera when I fell. Small but significant. :(

Sorry off topic. I love the photograph, and I've been wanting to play around with neutral density filters and daylight scenes for a very long time now. You'll have to post a few more photographs up while you experiment, I'd love to see the crazy ideas you can come up with, you can only do so much at night you know... :) good luck!
