Just a single pic, but boy, what a spooky building in Highland Park.

I can already see a movie sequel based on it: "Gate Hovse II: Revenge of Gate Hovse"

A few years ago a buddy of mine got married nearby there in Rochester... for the photos, the whole group of us ended up on the steps of that gate house...

Maybe it's gotten spookier in the years since... rolleyes1.gif

Nice treatment to the image!! thumb.gif

This looks good. Perfect for theme

    Thanks, guys.

It's always neat, I think, to visit buildings and locations "out of season" to see how they look.

Is this an actual house or a converted Mausoleum?headscratch.gif

It's a gatehouse, not a mausoleum. It's actually not very big, and in the summer it's not threatening looking at all ...

Creepiness! Nice B&W treatment on it. Works well here. Maybe a slightly tighter crop to balance the image a bit more.

Hey, Mark, I really like that shot. You should go back there sometime and get a creepy looking sky to go with the creepy house! But this one is good.

Maybe this weekend if I have time I can look for Gate Hovse No. 1. :D

But yeah, shooting in late morning on a sunny day is no good for skies. rolleyes1.gif
