any ideas on small white grains on #1 hover?
does anyone think #2 looks a bit flat looking?

    Lovely series Phil - gotta love #1 - wonderful hover. If you have a few of those around try to get one with it's tongue fully extended- you'll find out why they have that beak. Haven't seen the fly in #3 before .

    Good shots, I think that's pollen on #1, the flatness of 2 to me, is the background, still nice, but not as interesting as the rest.
