I am trying to use Journal style gallery for videos and it does appear to work. Below are the links. If this is not functional, can I use a photo gallery where I could link the photo directly to video to play? If yes, how do I do that?

Unfortunately, Journal style isn't updated yet to support direct video playing. Instead of linking to the larger single image view, you could use the following URL modification that I borrowed from SmugMug style:
http://lifeinfocusexpressions.smugmug.com/gallery/6323366_3gQpi/1/398724767_B7YXp#398724767_B7YXp-A-LB
It should play the video right away upon clicking on it - with journal mode in background. The link construction is made up from the default gallery link with /1/ (http://lifeinfocusexpressions.smugmug.com/gallery/6323366_3gQpi/1/) followed by the image ID and image key for the video (398724767_B7YXp). Then attach # and again the imageID and image key and '-A-LB' for lightbox in auto mode, which will choose the optimal size of the video to fit the screen. Instead of A, you can also use S, M, L or XL for different video sizes.
I just checked, you could even use the simplified version like this:

This is not supported officially and may stop working, but for now it seems to work just fine.

Thanks - that worked. This functionality will be helpful to send to potential customers or clients who are viewing work in progress. I could send them a link in an email for them to access. This would be easier and faster for them.
Please consider this as a supported feature.
Thanks.
