Okay, I had forgotten that I went on Friday to take some test shots of the practice runs for the show. When I was cleaning up some folders I found these and tried to process them as well as I could. These are some of the F/A-18 fighter jet, so no Thunderbirds in this thread. :D

And finally, this guy got really close as he banked around for another pass, so this was almost a full-framed shot! So, it gets super-sized! :thumb

    Those are incredible!!!... are you sure you weren't in another jet flying in formation?

    Aw man, I wish! That would be awesome! Then I could really test the "Active" VR setting on my lens...

    I am definitely remembering that specific location for next time - it was a lucky find, thanks to my wife, who suggested we go check it out...

    Nice shots, Bob. Love it when you get to capture the vapor on off the wings like that. But I don't see any F-15s in this thread - that's an F/A-18 you have there.

    Thanks for the correction, Moose - I updated my post! Obviously I don't know the difference between the two, but they sure were fun to watch...
