Hey guys. My multiple file selection tool has stopped working in my smug mug account, check out www.tonystewart.co.uk or anthonyjstewart.smugmug.com. I can select buy this photo and it happily brings up the individual gift menu but it wont bring up the multiple file selection window. It used to so not sure what the prob is.

Would you mind having a look. Thanks

I just looked at your account and used the 'buy: photos in this gallery' link, and it seemed to work just fine.

Can you explain more about your problem, please? does it not work for all albums/galleries? What happens when you click the link? do you get some sort of error message? If so, what does it say? Please give us as much information as possible, as it may help us to help you thumb.gif

Thats odd. It hangs. It seems to sit there with the progress bar moving so incredibly slowly it never does anything. I can select other options such as buy photo but the multiple photo box doesn't pop up.

What browser is this with? Did you try a different browser or computer and see if that made a difference? What gallery did you try? is it on your custom domain? or on the smug domain, or both?

    Hi there

I am using IE7. I actually have tried it in 2 computers and I get the same response. I also tried it on the google browser the individual buy it works but looks bad, which is probably a coding issue and doesn't work at all on the multiple selection window.

I have also tried it using the smugmug direct link and my own redirected URL and only the individual buy photo works.

    Cheers

I see the same issue here in your gallery. I'm running Firefox 2. The status bar just says "Waiting for secure.smugmug.com" forever and never does anything. I tried Buy Multiple in this gallery.

Can you provide us with some more details? What operating system? Did you try it in Internet Explorer as well or Safari if you're on Mac?

Clear your browser cache as well and see if that helps.

Do you have any kind of anti-virus, firewall, ad-blocking or internet security software that could be blocking parts of our javascript? List all those tools.

    Thanks,

What exactly does mean 'not working'? What do you get? Can you give us screenshots of what your screen looks like when it's 'not working'?

Try it logged out and logged in.

    Does this help ?

How long did you wait? Please wait up to one minute and see if the page shows up.

Also try this link. It brings up this screen in any browser I have (Safari and Firefox on Mac, Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows).

If it doesn't work for you, run a traceroute to secure.smugmug.com .

To run a traceroute on a Mac, follow the instructions here:

It just doesn't do anything however long you wait. Nothing has changed on my PC with regards to software, virus or firewall installations it used to work but doesn't any more.

I am using ie7 and Vista premium.

It works fine if I select just 1 picture for printing, just multiple doesn't work.

Your web link worked by the way it did bring up the screen with those images.

I tried chrome and ie7 same problem.

    Thanks

That's interesting. So you were able to use the 'buy multiple photos' interface using my link above?
And it does not work from within this gallery?

Please give me all the security software that you use. These programs update and change themselves constantly to keep up with new threats, so saying that they didn't change does not help. List them all. Thanks.

What happens if you temporarily disable all your security software? Does the 'buy multiple photos' button work then?

    Sebastian,
I waited several minutes, just wandered off and left it, the page doesn't show

Using the links in your message the page shows up just fine and I can buy multiple photos if I wish.

MY own site works just fine so I don't see the point of running a traceroute to secure.smugmug.com, please tell me if its relevant.

OK I turned off AVG Virus then restarted ie7 same problem.

I then turned off my Windows firewall so both the virus software and firewall are off and I also reset all ie7 defaults back to factory settings and restarted and I am still having the same problem.

Seems to be not that common a problem.

Nothing you do like this is the problem, others including me can't get the
multi-buy to work on your site. So it has to be something in your
customization. Copy all your javascript into text files then delete and see if it
    then works.

Getting this error with Firebug. Move all your javascript to the bottom javascript
    and see if it helps.
