I did some shooting at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens on Monday. I had lots of nice shots but not much luck holding my new 70-300 VR still enough . . . so I hope to go back on Fri with my tripod. I did capture this one and thought it was a keeper. Just a bit of PP to beef up the colors. Sorry about the watermark--it def shows in this one.

CORRECTION - "Duet" of Monarch Butterflies
Ah, Skippy -- I must've posted before I cleaned my glasses! Having examined my work more closely, I see that there are, indeed, just TWO butterflies. Perhaps I should call it "Trio of Monarch Butterfly Wings?"

Thanks for the tip. BTW, Is it off-center enough or would you crop it differently? This is cropped already, but I have a bit more to work with on the original.

    Cheers,
    Lauren

Beautiful shot, I love Monarchs - my mother has a monarch nursery every year. She has around 50 plants and the come lay a million eggs and later summer her backyard is full of them! I am getting some plants this year too so hopefully will have some shots like yours! clap.gif
