We woke up at 4:15am and got in position to shoot the sunrise. Well we never did see the sun come up as the fog and rain decided the gameplan for the day. Not wanting to waste a morning, we put the rain gear on and headed back out.

It was worth getting up and heading out thumb.gif

Curious tho...what are the piles of rocks in the water for? Is it to tie up boats?

Well the ones on the left were the supports for an old dock which led to the small boat hut.

Very nice shot. I like the contrast between the deep colors in the foreground and the bleakness of the background.thumb.gifthumb

Thanks, I think thats what I like about the photo the most is the contrast between the foreground and background.
Its also a photo that will remind me of the extra effort it took to go back out in the rain and continue to shoot in not so favourable conditions. I figured even if I kept one it would be worth it.

    Cheers
