Do Metallic prints take longer to receive?

Just curious...i placed an order on Tuesday before noon for 12 metallic prints (mostly 4x6's and a few 8x12's) and then paid for overnight shipping. I hoping to get them in time for a class presentation on Friday evening.

The order process said to typically allow 1-2 days for processing, following by overnight delivery. Does this same timeframe hold true for metallic prints? Or should I expect more than 2 days to process?

I'm really hoping my prints arrive on Friday, but I'm preparing a backup printing plan just in case.

Hi Chris,

your print is in production and hasn't shipped yet. You will get an e-mail with a tracking number when it does ship. It does take a little longer for metallic prints to be prepared: Metallic Prints page

Hi Chris,

I'm sorry that your order hasn't shipped yet. As a correction to what Seamus said, there's actually no additional delay for metallic prints. They're should print as fast as the other print finishes.

I was just on the phone with our lab and it looks as if the 8x12's were all ready processed. I asked Aqeel to make sure that the rest of the order gets printed today so that it goes out today.

You should receive a shipping notification later in the day. It'll contain a FedEx tracking number which should give you an estimated delivery time.

I hope that you'll get your prints in time.
