Thanks! Digital photography is all about experimentation. At least the film is cheap! I appreciate your comments.

Hi Nick,
Thanks! I just wish I had been able to actually stick around and meet more of ya'll. I had a committment here back in Texas that took me home on that Thursday.
All of these panos are a single vertical row. I shot some multi row panos while in Rocky Mountain National Park, but not in Arches.
Take care,
James

Thank you. I was pretty surprised at how the black and white infrared stuff came out. The sky there was just amazing for that type of photography.

Thanks Bryan! I wasn't able to actually participate in the shootout due to conflicts, but decided to shoot the general area before I had to be back in Texas on Thursday. You should definately get out there and check the area out. It was amazing!

Thank you Adam! It was neat meeting you as well (and whomever else was with you whose names I can't remember). I sure wish I could have stuck around for the shootout, but I was glad to have at least had an opportunity to photograph in that area.
BTW, I checked out your gallery, and you have some amazing stuff there. I especially like the Antelope Canyon shots. Some day I will make it out that way, as I've always wanted to shoot there.

Thanks man! Yeah, these took a long time to stitch, and I have a fairly fast pc (quad core 3 Ghz intel). It's the 16 bit TIF files that really kill it. When I merge them in Photomatix, each one can be like 250 Mb. Yikes. Takes forever.
