She's a beautiful model Nik. I'm enjoying the poses on some of these. I think you'd have keepers if you shot her again at a different location. MHO is that that setting does nothing for her or the look (blue dress shots especially). Technically, they are all great...lighting, focus, comps, etc.

I actually like the bright blue dress against the background. And the golden sunlight is nice.

Love the pose in 2...except for the shadows on the legs, awesome shot.
Really like the pose in the first fence shot...better without the sign in the background.
My favorites are the night shots.....those are NICE!

Yeah, that tall grass casting shadows... I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that sun sets at different places at different times of year. It wasn't the case few months ago, I swears mwink.gif
I actually finaly noticed them and moved her to a more open spot, but for the first few looks it was already too late :-) ne_nau.gif

Excellent series Nik. Honestly, 4 and 6 don't do much for me (not a big fan of the jumping "x" and the shadow in 6 seems a bit heavy) but the rest are very nice, especially how the ones with the blue dress - it just pops against that neutral background. thumb.gif

    hey my friend.
did you work with the shoe mount flash as well ?

what kind of flashes are you using for that? still the 580 EX II `s ?

or only one for the master and the rest are 430er ?

Not in this case. I only use my 580EXII when I'm out of other options, usually due to the utmost mobility requirements (public events mostly).
In this case it was either all natural light (where she faces the setting sun), or two PW-controlled and 1/4 CTO gelled sunpacks, one for rim, one for fill.

Worth the wait-- sorry, no critique on your lighting or anything like that. Too difficult to notice anything other than the model in these shots! :D
