I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thanks to all for your comments.

    It was one of those magical opportunities we all get, too infrequently, when all the elements come together at the right time. The light is great, the scene is perfect, and we are there to capitalize on the ocassion.

    Outstanding! I was hoping to get some shots like this this autumn but the weather has been crap (for photography, not for "normal" people). The first is my favorite, I like the curved leading line of the road.

    I certainly appreciate the weather comment. Happens everywhere. That's probably why I spend so much time in the field....hoping to catch those magic moments when they present themselves. You do a pretty good job of that yourself.
