Hi - I thought some digital grinners might like to hear about this location and trip.

There is an upcoming trip (Dec. 1-4) with Sebastiao Salgado and net proceeds benefit his charitable organization in Brazil (he is reforesting the Atlantic Forest)... a great trip for a great cause. Please feel free to forward on to other grinners or friends. The trip has been described as like being able to go to Yosemite with Ansel Adams .. truly special and rare.

Hope you enjoy your trip and have good shooting ops. I just returned from 3 weeks in Brasil and my biggest concern was theft. Everywhere I turned I was warned about thieves. Also police, military and domestic were everywhere. I did find a way to carry some equipment that wasn't terribly obvious. Your probably won't be spending much time in the big cities, SP & Rio so you should be OK. Good luck. bsvirginian
