Bean Hollow - USA - Infrared

Here's another IR shot I took while out shooting with Sam in USA.
We were at Bean Hollow which is about 17 miles south of Half Moon Bay,
and 3 Miles south of Pescadero.

The fog was still in quite close, but the IR cuts right through it.
You can still see on the horizon the thick fog layer.

If you are able to view a larger size image from my album,
you can zoom in and see the Pelicans and other Sea Birds sitting on the rocks,
on the rocks further back in the image. http://www.ozzieskip.smugmug.com/gallery/6335909_3Ebw4#402613806_xp948

Enjoy :thumb .... Skippy :D

Looks very primordial, as if the ooze will become life at any moment. thumb.gif

It was a pretty cool spot, there were seals on the rocks and in the water too, but I wasn't using a lens with a very long reach on it at all.

I believe a few Dgrinners/Smugmuggers have been to this location as well

Nice job with the infrared! Bean Hollow is one of my favorite spots! Great to see a different vantage point with the strong IR contrast. Keep shooting! John

    Nice IR!

Here is one of you at Bean Hollow, high above the ocean shooting down into the fog.

Thanks John, I'd never been to Bean Hollow before, Sam was kind enough to take me out for the entire day shooting.

I also did not notice the many seals in the water, I saw the ones on the rocks but Sam pointed out the seals that were coming in closer to the shore........we had a great time .... thanks for looking thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

Hey Sam, we had a great day out shooting, took a while for the fog to move, but the IR just cuts right through it, it's freaking awesome how it works :ivar

There were so many Pelicans and Seabirds and Seals there,
did you get any close-ups of the seals???

I was shooting wide almost the entire time, having a ball trying to figure out what settings to use since this was my first day out with the new camera.

Thanks again for a wonderful day out Sam, thanks for the picture showing me on the cliff .... I had a really great day out clap.gif ... Skippy :D
