Early Morning Foliage

Gotta get these in while the leaves are still here. We had rain and wind over the weekend so leaves are really starting to go away even here in southern New England. There shots are all done locally at a cemetery a few minutes after sunrise (which is about 7:00a right now).

Used a polarizer to darken the sky. I did not boost any of the colors (even though it looks like it). Some of the oranges really seem to be saturating naturally.

Thanks Awais. I've been chasing the light in this area for a couple of weeks to try and get a sense of the colors at sunrise.

    Hi Tom,

A very nice series. I particularly like the perspective of the last shot.

I like the last one as well, though something weird seems to be happening with the processing on the top of the tree.

I've been struggling with that myself. I'm not positive but it may be a polarizer effect since I didn't do anything there. I've also noticed some strong saturation in the oranges and reds that I think may also be related. If anyone has a better idea on what's going on I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks everyone for the comments on the pictures.
