Maples are beautiful trees. I like your take on this, good comp and colour, but perhaps a little too bright?

I'm quite envious of your backyard too (what's behind those trees?), all I have is a couple of fourth floor windows with a now leafless maple top just outside. And the occasional brave great tit taking peeks inside, if I have the window open

Thanks! I'll take another look at the brightness factor.

Our actual property ends just beyond the maple, but we are adjacent to 12 acres of protected and maintained greenspace, including the stand of trees you see in the background. On the other side of the little forest is the other side of our neighborhood...and the backyards of other homes. For living in town, it's a pretty sweet spot, we think!
