Have had several ideas on 11 and think I'm running with this one.

I call it Open E Can you hear the note?

Thanks for any input :D

I like the idea, but no so much the execution, there seems to be a very slight camera shake, and I'd up the contrast

great idea! If you get a chance to reshoot you might want to be sure that the rest of the strings are sharp and only the E is vibrating/blurred. JMO.

Perhaps try stopping down a little so there's a less shallow dof? That might help the focusing point be clearer, too.

I agree with everyone else, but I was also thinking that this might look even better in color vs black and white, JMO!
    Good luck!

No part of the shot is tack sharp and I think it needs one. Maybe focus is on the rest of the strings near the soundhole but maybe they're all resonating with the played string.

    Very clever idea though. thumb.gif

Thanks for all the replies! The sharpness was lacking from the vibrationing of the whole guitar. I need to isolate it better. Tamping the other strings out of the shot should help as well as setting it on some pillows. Back to the drawing board. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
