    This is a very nice shot. The lighting is unique when compared to similar shots. I like the BG in this shot as well. What I notice is the image looks over sharpened. I would also like to see more isolation of the hoodoo (keeping the very cool BG).

    here is a less sharp, toned down version.
    also do you mean maybe panning left a little and putting the hoodoo on the right side of the frame?
    this can be done next trip...in fact, when are we going?

    Sounds horrible doesn't it?- And yet, I don't feel a bit bad.

    If your thing at the racetrack doesn't work out for the 7th, shoot me a PM and we can meetup for about a 3-4 hour side trip on your way to the coast if you'd like.

    Very nice shot. I want to be around when one of these formations crumbles. That's got to be a real show.
