Just to show I don't always shoot bugs- some of yesterday's shots.

Leaf hopper 3.0mm total length - ID'd as Zyginella pulchra - a recent invader in the UK
Mouldy melon
A moody autumnal shot of a very pregnant Melanostoma scalari- think the flash must have been partially shaded.
A thrip 1.8mm long on the underside of a rhodie leaf. There are some other interesting things on the main leaf vein in the BG.

Yes the fuchsia anthers do have nice textures before they invert themselves to reveal the pollen. Stacking software has a hard time with it as it's such low contrast detail.
