Hi - spotted this Hornbill whilst visiting the Kruger National Park in South Africa recently.

Equipment: Nikon D300 + Sigma 50-500 lens with Kenko 1.4x TC fitted.

    Interesting creature you found there. Hope to get to Africa some day. As Harry said, it is a tad soft and perhaps a little noisy. I use Noise Ninja to take care of that.

    Hi - Thank you all for your comments...

    You're quite right Harry, I certainly had a great time! Did notice that it is hard getting everything in "long range" focus with several persons in a vehicle. In the Kruger National Park, you are not allowed out of the car with the exception of certain designated places. This is unfortunately rather restrictive when taking photos.
