But that picture is precious as it is! Maybe consider getting him used to the camera. Have him take your picture. With digital, instant gratification is easy.

Showing kids their pictures right away can really help them get into it. With bigger little kids (like 4-5, maybe older 3), my trick has been to tell them I'm going to try my best to scare them because I'm practicing for Halloween. Then I make a fool of myself hiding behind the camera and jumping out. Keep in mind, I'm a very non-threatening tiny woman, so it's pretty funny to them.

but for now he is easy to schedule and works cheap.
And we seem to always end up at the same birdhouse bench
when out taking shots, guess I like the look of it but
I really need to branch out...
