Just went for a quick drive and a few pics. Griffith Observatory is in Griffith park, which is located on a mountain north of Los Angeles. We're having a heat wave so it was warm and we had hazy skies which made for a very rich and saturated orange skies. You could still see down to the Pacific Ocean though which probably is about 20 miles or so west of the park.
