[BUG] Search broken?

It looks like searching might be broken, I can't search for anything. Even searching for my username returns no results.

I have been getting mixed results the past two days with my community searches.

Sometimes it works right, sometimes it returns nothing at all and sometimes it returns galleries not in my restricted community at all. If I wait 20 mins or so and try exact same search again I can get different results. I tried clearing temp files, used different browsers, refreshed, all that jaz before giving up and posting it here.

some test searches I run are to find gallery name matches:
"Pug" should return 2 galleries
"2007" which at the moment is showing me 160 galleries of other people not in my restricted community.

I did notice a case sensitivity issue along my testing way that comes and goes too. when I search for "pug" it would not work but searching for "Pug" "pUg" worked but "puG" did not. but that was yesterday and it does not seem to do that today.

Could the recent changes that are being made affect the community searching as well? if so when will they be done?

Not likely, we didn't change search. I'll check into it!

Is there any word on if this is really broken and if if it when will it be fixed.?

I really need this feature working.

We're looking into it. So far I have no clue on why the gallery search sometimes doesn't return any gallery results for your community while it works fine on for example, the dailyphotos community.

search community feature still broken
It has been over a year now since I first reported this BUG and still the search features in communities I created still don't work. No status or date as to when it may be looked at either.

Over the past year, I have been checking back and still getting mixed results.

I know you all must be busy with other features but this is a real BUG and something I was counting on to work as advertized. This feature as become part of my business plan and growth goals for this summer. I plan on hiring many photographers across the US to shoot Motorcycle event for me and post them on SmugMug under their own pro accounts. they will also join my communities so a single company front is presented to customers while still allowing payments for prints sold to go to the proper photographer.

So you see, it is no longer an optional or nice feature for me to use, I am dependent on it in order to expand my business this summer.

My Customers must be able to search the community on a few key words and find the gallery they are looking for in a reliable and consistent manner. that is how this feature is presented as it should work but is does not work that way.

Can we get someone to look into this BUG and let me know when or if it will be fixed soon?
