    works too.

    Almost ever BBS had a list of smilies that could be downloaded. 8*p

    BBS = the way we used to tie up the phone line and waste time on the computer before www. 8*)

    Which, as far as I know, is where the tagline came from. Some here on dgrin still use them.

    Taglines like:
    The two most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity

    Or

    [font=&quot]Time flies like the wind – fruit flies like the bananas

    Lest we forget: lol, roflmao, imho.

    You could download files. Take three for every two you upload. All this with a 9600 baud modem...those were the days. 8*)
