    In fact on the first two links, two thumbs that had been squared for ages went rectangular all of a sudden.

    I've had the same thing happen (where 1 thumb loads as rectangular for some reason). If you go in and rotate your photo then rotate it back it should fix itself. Not sure why this happens though.

    Same problem here
    I'm having problems with this as well when when trying to do bulk adjust thumbnails. The message says
    "Our computers will adjust your thumbnails as you play with SmugMug.

    It could take a few minutes, but as you browse, your newly adjusted thumbnails will replace the ones you chose to adjust."
    I've waited about 20 minutes, but still have rectangular thumbnails.

    I'm getting the same thing.

    I tried to square up an entire gallery last night - no effect after 1 hour. Tried again from work computer this morning. Another hour, no effect.

    Individual crop thumbnail works immediately, but the bulk tool doesn't seem to be working.

    but it did make me think of another option: yes, I can upload with thumbs set to square and it works (just like cropping individuals, as stated above). The bulk square, still, however, for a gallery that was uploaded non-squared, does not work.

    I dont really know what bulk thumbs are. What I mean is that I have set this gallery to square thumbs but they will not turn square. I did the same for te other galleries and they did turn square.

    Is that what you are asking?

    I think I have worked out what you mean... but that's not quite true for me because soe galleries were not uploaded with square thumbs yet I was able to get the thumbs set to square, if fact for several galleries, it's just this one that will not change

    So you are saying that this is a recognised problem as yet unfixed?

    Bulk Adjust Thumbnails is still not working. Should this be posted to the bug thread or should I send an email to support?

    So, I used the Gallery Customization page to set your gallery from square to original and then back to square and it seems to work. I don't know why this is happening to people yet. I'm still trying to work it out.

    So, it's definitely looking as the Adjust Thumbnails under the Many Photos section is not working right. If you want to adjust the thumbnails on a full gallery, you'll have to use the Gallery Settings. If you want them square and it is already set to be square, then first switch to original and then back to square. I'll do more digging on the Many Photos tool so that our engineers can fix this.

    AHA! someone's changed something because my culprit gallery has now changed to square thumbs without my having had to do anything - it just did it todaythumb.gif thanks:D

    I tried your suggestion but all it did was mess up all the images that I had already squared. I can't tell you how much time I spent learning how to square individual photos ((several years ago before this new system) and then squaring each individual image.
    Would really appreciate help as soon as possible—it's been over a week.
