I like the pair shot, nice view of their surroundings.
It could use some more contrast, yes I think.

    Hey Ginger,

Good osprey shots. Ospreys are an extremely hard subject to capture and you did a good job here. thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks, Harry and Ben. I do have more from that shoot: as you say, Harry, it ain't easy. It takes patience and alot of time.

Since these birds are so far away, and I was using the monopod, I think the cropping helps, since I have proven that I can get them in the air.

Not here, in this thread, somewhere, I know I posted one in the air somewhere.
rolleyes1.gif . I just shot a Mayday thing at church, procession, crowning of Mary, etc. And 2 baptisms.

I want to shoot egrets tonight. Or the high tide and sunset, one or the other. Only so much time, and I am getting the ospreys up last.

All of those are sharp and not oof. I think I am having PS problems with them.

I don't know why, except that I am using Rutt's sharpening method. That is last. I don't know what the white stripe is down the egret's back. I thought it was from the sharpening, but is not.

Hehe, the ones are church ought to be fun in PS, not only the harsh sun of mid day, some were backlit as in underexposed, and alot were in both sun and shade. I was thanking god for RAW right there.
