I think the first one, though you may want to do some noise removal, and subsequent sharpening. And maybe punch up the contrast a little.
For the second one, i'm not a huge fan of that effect.

Another vote for the first one.
The composition on #2 is really good, but the effect doesn't do much for me, either.
I think #2 would also look good in B&W.
