OK here is my entry for dss#11 :
It's one of the oldest organ around here (XVIIIth century) and it hasn't produced any sound for almost 20 years. It needs a serious restoration and now only takes dust.
As I've been told by pyroPrints, the actual title doesn't sound really good indeed (a shame for this challenge )... "Should play loud but remains silent" sure sounds too descriptive.
So I may have some new ideas : "Silenced by dust" or "Silent after centuries of music" or just "Reduced to silence". My english being far from perfect I'm not able to translate some kind of idiomatic expressions that first came to my mind here. What do you think of these titles ?
Thanks in advance for advice

From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tacet
"Tacet is Latin for "it is silent". It is a musical term to indicate that an instrument does not play for a long period of time..."

I love the latin idea ! It fits perfectly to the pic I think. I worked a bit on latin expressions and came to this title "Musica tacet" that should mean "music silenced". (My latin class is soooo far away...) Thanks Richtersl for the idea !
Pyro, I didn't know about these rules of no use ot theme words (I guess my actual title is double wrong then )

Alrighty then! Glad that worked for you!
Actually, it was never a rule to not use a theme word, just suggested. On the first of these challenges, which took place last year, over half of the entries had one of the theme words in the title. That got nipped in the bud pretty quick and I think it was a good move from the individual running the challenges at that time.
