We are in search of finding information regarding battery packs for Flash's. We Shoot weddings and we can't wait for the Flash to recycle. Does anyone have expericne with these and do you know what ones fit best for the Canon Digital Rebel XT?

Thanks Guys.

what flash are you using? i use the 420ex and i just wrote in the accerories forum about the energizer lithium aa's that i use. they're excellent with very fast recycle rate and have a long life, they perform much better than my good rechargeables. i use one fresh 4-pack for basically any event that requires flash without any problems. at about $10 per 4-pack, they're not cheap, but they're certainly worth it.

I have powerex maha or something high mAh batteries and they are troopers. Fast recycle, dont "fade" and last for a long timew/ a 420ex also.

I have a 540EZ which is attached via a tight fitting socket through a 6v cable addapter to a 60w Digital Camera Battery. The flash will fire every 5 seconds with a full charge for hours.
The flash no longer workes on normal batteries so you may want two flash heads depending on what your doing.
The 60w is quite large(about three packets of cig's end to end) so for an afternoon wedding I'd guess you'd only need the 30w model(pocket size).
You can also run your camera from this. Anything from 1.2v to 16v.
