First time post - and it's only taken me 2 hours to work out how to do it!!!
I hope it has worked OK.:dunno
Anyway, shot was taken with a Canon 450D with the standard 18-55mm kit lens. I would appreciate some C&C. Having been looking through the DGRIN posts for the last couple of weeks I have a lot to learn.
Cheers, Richard.

Thanks for your welcome and feedback - with regard to having the image larger - any suggestions on how to do it? As I said at the begining - after two hours of failed attempts to get it posted - I was happy just to get it there. Technology really does make life easier !!
Cheers, Richard.
Guess what - worked it out !!

Welcome to the Dgrin forum, real nice first post too.
The outer edges of the petals look like velvet....love the colour
The centre of the flower looks good with it's casting shadow.
Glad you hear you have learnt a lot by browsing through the many posts here on Dgrin.....that's what it's all about, learning and sharing
Lovely shot Richard .... Skippy
