Something is perplexing me most fiercely... damn mystery it is. :scratch :dunno

Here is a screenshot of the same picture opened in Windows Photo Gallery & Microsoft Office Picture Manager. For some reason, the photo gallery displays ALL pictures with this horrible colour cast. Is there any way to correct it? I have searched and searched... and cannot find any info on this. :help

If all else fails, I am going to re-install the PC! From the beginning!!! :deal
Please spare me the horror of this. Pretty please. :bow <-- The closest I can find to begging smilie.

I can't say I've ever used either of these, but I evidently have them on my computer. I checked several jpegs and they both look identical. All the images I looked at were sRGB.

Can you confirm the color profile for the photos? It may be that one of the viewers is color managed and the other not. So this will mean that only sRGB will match.

    Just a guess,

This is as it should be. They should both be the same.

It is the same for ALL photos... including JPGs from the 'Net. There must be some registry hack or something to fix this problem... but for the life of me, I cannot find it anywhere. Bizarre.
