Thelast one is a long legged fly, the other two ar shield bugs I think. I like last one the best, perhaps try cropping the black out.

Thanks for the comments, guys :)

I will do a search for shield bugs and long legged flies so I know something about them.

I am trying to crop less and get the composition right in the camera as much as I can.
    I have a ways to go, I know.. rolleyes1.gif

For the bugs try families Lygaeidae, Reduviidae & Pyrrhocoridae.

Not knowing your location limits what help can be given. headscratch.gif

My location is Newcastle , NSW. Australia.
I tried to put my location on my profile but it is not coming up..

    3. is Long Legged Fly - Austrosciapus connexus .
I am pretty sure of that..

1 & 2 are proving elusive but i think Lygaeidae is the best bet..

As an aside, We have 500 species of ladybug here in Australia it seems and half of them have not been identified yet. I saw a program on TV the other night about it.

    Thanks very much.
