Raise The Roof!
50D is in!! WOOOOT!!
Its my wife's bday next Tuesday and she wants to get out of that XTi that we won in Canon shoot like a pro back in Sept 06. Sooo, she's getting my 40D and I'm gonna use the 50D (lol... hand me down bday present!). As a 40D user, I feel right at home with the 50D. I doubt I'll notice any improvement at all with the extra pixels. If anything I'll end up buying larger memory cards! (8GB's arent large enough anymore :rolleyes ). I guess some reviews said high iso is worse on the 50D due to increased pixel density. The auto light optimizer and vingetting adjustments are pretty cool features that I'm looking forward to checking out. I heavily use Canon DPP so new versions and features are always welcome. We should be putting around 1000 shots on each body tomorrow, so we'll see how it stacks up! :thumb:thumb Worst case is we have the 40D if we REALLY need great low noise performance.
ps, they actually raised the roof... bout a mile away from the Jamesburg NJ Canon repair facility...
