Man you are on a roll!!! I do like #1 but after reading a few suggestions it would be neat to see a different sky but that is how it was. #3 and 5 are my fave!!!

Hi Jeff, number #1 is still not winning me over, but I love the rest.
Your post processing sure does make these images POP!

I love what your doing, very impressive indeed Jeff clap.gifclap.gif

Thanks, Skippy. Nuttin much left to do with #1. It's the only decent shot I have of the outside. I wish I was there at a different time of day. Oh well. It's all for fun anyway. beer.gif

Most of the abandoned home shots I've seen were in B&W. It's refreshing to see them in color and composed so well. I don't know what you're doing with post-processing but it's terrific. thumb.gif

These are all very nice Jeff. Really nice work. Love the PP job you have
    applied to each image. thumb.gifthumbthumb.gif

I too would be interested to know what bit of magic you gave them.
Definitely something I would really like to try myself.
The first one looks like some "Orton" effect was applied. Just started
working out that effect. Its pretty cool on images that seem to take
    to it well. :D

Thanks for your kind words. About post processing? Well, I did all of the processing in Capture NX2 with these images. Something here and there, a little bit of everything. One plugin I have come to love and use quite often is Nik Software's Color Efex 3.0 (complete edition). You can get it for PS, too.

For the first shot I applied a "glamour glow" filter and just tweaked it till it looked right.

For the others I worked on contrast toning to bring out the details.

Yeah, I know my signiture says "more photography . . . less photoshop" but I didn't say anything about Capture NX! eek7.gif

Seriously, there not much you can do with a bad image from the field, but you can certainly spruce up good ones!

    Hope that helps!

Thanks Jeff. Yes, this info does help. Doesn't help the pocket book though. mwink.gif

Color Efex Pro 3.0 looks like hot product to have. Right now I am only
bothering to use one plugin to Photoshop and thats Neat Image for noise.

Wonder if this software will help me tons with any BW conversions I might
    want to do.

Looks like buying the complete Nik collection is the higher value.
Any thoughts that $600.00 purchase. :D Michael
